Dave Morgan’s musical journey started early in Sylvania, Ohio, when he picked up a guitar in the **4th grade**. By 5th grade, he was already performing, and by 6th grade he was forming bands and taking the stage at school talent shows.
What started as a kid with a guitar quickly became a lifelong obsession with music.
During his junior year of high school, Dave picked up the **bass guitar**, adding another dimension to his musicianship and developing a deep appreciation for rhythm, groove, and the way the bass drives a song.
Dave’s musical influences are as diverse as his career, ranging from **ELP, The Beatles, The Who, ELO, The Cars, Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Rush, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, and Weather Report**, along with countless other artists who have shaped his sound and approach to music.
Over the years, Dave has performed with a long list of bands and projects, including:
**Silver Streak • Marya • Freewill • Akasha • The Odyssey • HUGHROCK • The Enthusiastics • RIZON • RAZIN KAIN • The Dervs • Raun Alosi and The Situation**
Now, after decades of performing, Dave has found his latest musical home with **ALIBI**.
For Dave, music has never simply been about playing notes. It’s about the **energy of a live performance, the chemistry between musicians, and that moment when a band and an audience become one.**
From a guitar in the 4th grade to a lifetime on stage, Dave Morgan is still doing what he started all those years ago—**making music, making noise, and having a hell of a lot of fun doing it.**
### **And the story is far from over.**
